Wow, that's impressive gear Ben!! *drools*
Oh, I got to use one of those Avolites at a show in the uni a while back, very nice to use! Literally I was told 30mins before the show starts I wasn't doing sound, I was a lampy for a day lol. Interesting! Actually want to do a course for them.

Looks more like Adlib Audio's stock. Say's so on their wedges. Also know they happen to have a large stock of Nexo Alpha. Do you work for Adlib Ben?

Hello sorry back. I'm not sure who it was from, I was the monitor Engineer for a band called Forever #Never on the uk Stone Sour tour, which was a sell out. a few of the pics are of the Astoria the others are different Academies round the country. The Astoria had pretty awful gear compared to the academies. the academies hired in all the gear. no idea where from to be honest. All the amps and some of the outboard was for monitors only. 10 mixes including side fills. I had never used a digital desk in my life, and had about 15mins to learn. But loved it once I had the hang of it. and the store/save button was great for rushed sound checks. It was the big time for me, I'm used to doing smaller venues, hope to back there later in the year though. Coming home was a bit of a bummer. Anyone got any tour work going?. Cheers guys.

oops my mistake, there is someone at adlib called ben who is currently the sisers monitor engineer. the PM5d is a great easy desk to use. how did you find the Adlib experience? did steve and richy look after you?

am i missing something? looking at the 4th pic from the bottom, all the faders are in the same place (0db). is this personal preference adjusting the gain for this or is this standard practice in pro mixing?
im self taught from watching others engineer/trial and error, have I missed something vital? does this increase headroom, reduce noise or anything else appart from looking quite nice?
cheers, Pat
