I was approached by several bands on the main stage at this year's Chinnor Bike Dayz, with regard to recording their performances to go with their own video footage at next years event.
I am reluctant to take my 27" iMac to this event, due to the dampness in the air.
Even though my professional FOH gazebo is one of the best, I still got some rain ingress at the front, which was shielded by the lid of the huge Thon Midas Venice F-32 road trunk, which was parked in front of the desk.
No problems with the Midas, as it has it's own ventilation fan and runs fairly warm, but I am concerned that the iMac would not like the damp air.
Anyone had any issues with outside recordings using an iMac or laptop?
