Last weekend the main lighting in my studio suddenly failed. I then realized that the emergency lighting hadn't come on. Luckily I had the stage lighting on from a different circuit, otherwise it would have been total darkness as there are no windows. It turned out that the wiring was a bit tight and the years of vibrations had disconnected the power feed via the emergency lights. I couldn't get spares for the old units, so I replaced them and all is well again. A pitch black studio is not the safest of environments, so I will be doing regular scheduled tests in future. www.emergency-lighting-direct.co.uk/emergency-bulkheads/8w-t5-non-maintained-emergency-bulkhead-ip65-c-w-legend-kit.htmlThe power-on green LED is powerful enough to light up the exit door when fitted overhead.
