hello people.
My name is Hannah. I'm a volunteer sound engineer for Resonance FM. I have a small amount of knowledge about miking up bands etc but very basic stuff. I am looking for a live sound engineering course and would really appreciate some advice. I've seen one on the Point Blank website but it has a mix of reviews. My aim is to learn more so i can go on to work for a venue.
Please advise me with your great wealth of knowledge.
thank you

Hi Hannah, www.sae.edu/ has been mentioned on this site previously. London SAE House 297 Kingsland Road E8 4DD London Tel. +44-(0)20-792 39 159 Fax. +44-(0)20-769 17 653 email: saelondon@sae.edu These are London based sites. Email: info@qantm.co.uk URL: www.qantm.co.ukwww.mycreativefuture.com/I have studied this very good course, but I did not have it assessed. I found it very informative and a great help. www.audiomasterclass.comI have built up my live sound and recording systems and stage lighting rigs over the last 15 years, starting out by volunteering to help a local band. During this time I have been engineering many local bands, local music venues and charity music festivals and have gained a lot of experience. I also record bands in my rehearsal/recording studio. You can soon get known on the circuit if you are good and work follows. John.
