Does anyone have the same problem as me with running generics and movers on the fat frog series, that desk has been in for repears longer than it has been in use, it just seems to be one problem after the other and its just no longer worth the money. we are thinking of investing in avo lite peral maybe the 2000 series just to run 6 moving heads and 8 trackspot moving head, no pars. or does anyone know of another desk that would do this ok?

Hi Mark, The Avo Pearl is one of my favourite small boards. However it has lots of fader banks for on the fly, real time programming and opperating dimmer racks etc as well as moving heads. It could be that you can save yourself some money and buy an Avo Azur or Azur Shadow. Basically this board is a Pearl without the faders (and uses the same patches and menu systems), it even has some nice extra features. I higly recommend having a look at it. The difference between the Azur and the Azur shadow is essentially the feel of the controls, the shadow has proper keys and the Azur doesn't. Have fun and stay away from masterpieces - programming hell!
