Hey all!
Anyone go to the fest last week? i had a good butchers at the pa system and was very impressed with the sound quality, especially the bass! When i looked i could only see four big cabs either side of the stage plus two flown arrays behind the drapes. anyone involved could tell me the setup? i didn't want to pester Rob Braviner about it as i know he's busy!

I did Cropredy 2 years ago with Albert Lee, the system then as now is Nexo Tangent array, which was fantastic to mix on and souded very accurate. The subs are cardiod and if you noticed how they are positioned helps the projection of the lows. I had a Midas Heritage 3000 FoH and XL3 for monitors. pics here www.soundengineer.co.uk/cropredy2003.htm Ian

yes i know you did Ian; i did a google picture search for fairport pictures on the net ( i run the Fairport Fans yahoogroup, 150 members!) and saw albert lee onstage! Also saw him at Cliffs pavilion in southend. Love his guitars, who are they made by??
(in reference to the pics) its good to see were not the only ones who have to gaffer tape a clock on the stage so the performers know when to stop!!!
