i note in my latest copy of 'thomanns hot deals' that they are now stocking PHONIC MQ4130 30 band mono eq's for £40!!!

The problem is, it makes it even more difficult for us with proper decent equipment to make any money if there are going to be guys going around with 8 channels "Phonic EQ" in their "monitor rack".
I shall not get started further.....

rofl. i was more thinking of the younger ones amongst us just getting started. i remember i had to use a REALISTIC 8 channel mono graphic for my first ever gig!!!!!

actually on the subject, what do you guys use for foh graffs? me, i'm a DBX man, totally converted!! Not too expensive either. the one im currently using is the 1231. lovely.

FoH BSS (cannot remember model), monitors DBX 1231, mind you with new Turbo wedges (TXD12M) hardly have to eq much.

Klark Teknik, preferebly the DN360 for FOH and or Monitors. Sound great and they do what you ask them to. Have recently been using the KT helix DN9340 for monitors, there digital but actually quite nice and easy and quick to use.
has anybody used any of the DBX digital crossovers?
