Good evening,
First a quick introduction, I’m Dom. 21 from Bradford. I’m a final Year of a engineering degree student and have been freelancing/casual in the sound side of things for coming up to 5 years. I like wearing shorts and drinking real ale. Pleased to meet you all. :]
I'm after some system Design Software; basically I want to produce the system diagrams of an entire system. I've seen them floating around in the past and I'm wondering if anyone of you can recommend any software which does this well.
I do have Multisim installed, this however focuses more on the electronic components, I’ve tried looking for a database for it but the NI website is an absolute pain and it there doesn’t look to be much on the web either which I don’t believe! Any suggestions would be super, Cheers Dom
__ Edit: It's amazing what you find after a cup of coffee. Stardraw. Exactly what I was after and i've heard of people using it as well.

I use EASE and MAPP for system design for spaces. Stardraw I believe is better for designing pretty diagrams of racks to show clients whereas EASE, Meyer MAPP and things like D&Bs' array calc and EVs' IRIS are for acoustic design of systems in spaces and will allow you to draw coverage prediction plots etc.

Cheers Simon for your reply, I'm a user of MAPP and Array Calc, I’m not overall familiar with IRIS or EASE. Correct about StarDraw, I was after the pretty diagrams for an install job I was updating. I'm not going as far as the rack diagrams though.
