Can anyone tell me where I can have a Sonogram made from a piece of speech? It would need to show frequency, time and possibly intensity although the first two scales are essential. Alternatively does anyone know another way of graphically representing speech (in the way that musical notation graphically represents music) in a manner that the image may be read or reproduced by a knowledgeable person from the image.

Also if you know anyone in a linguistics department at a university they muck about with this sort of thing.
