hello I am a student at Lancaster High School, near Buffalo, NY. I am in a pre-engineering class and i am doing a research project on the sound engineers job. One of the requirements is to set up an interview (awnsering questions over the internet is fine) with someone in the feild. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone who is a sound engineer could contact me about conducting this interview.

Hi Steve,
I'm a bit of an old boy...... but I've been an engineer for 30 odd years. mostly freelance. made a living all that time....what would you like to know ?(apart from don't do it!) haha
I've been all over the place, mostly live, but some studio work....all types of production, club to festival (sometimes on consecutive days) reggae to opera to metal to drum 'n' bass.
I'm sitting here nursing a couple of broken ribs, so got a bit of time to spare.
