hi all! ok. As im using my gear out and about now, what level of insurance do i need? any pointers? i obviously want to insure my stuff against theft (dont say e+l, they wouldnt pay out last time) but im wondering what the case would be if, say, one of my mid-top cabs fell on someones head (apart from the obvious comedy bump) any ideas?

Public Liability. Robertson Taylor Torribles these insurance companies are entertainment specialists and deal with Brit Row etc. Join the PSA and they will give you massive discounts. £5m public liability is the way to go. www.psa.org.uk

Hi there Simon, Is it true that if you get the discount with PSA, your PL insurance will only cover you in PSA venues? I was in a rush when I got mine and didn't pursue the discount route, but it could be usefull for next year. All the best Paul

Hi Simon, I had a look at the PSA site and it stresses that failure to comply with the latest Health & Safety regs, would void any insurance. Can you recommend any Health & Safety courses or at least some readable, up to date books. John.
