Pictures removed pending resize.... Sorry guys, I didn't realize some of you would have problems, they fit fine on my 19" monitor and broadband. Here are some images from the last week of gigging: SE1 club, London Bridge: Midas Venice 240, Yamaha SPX90, Drawmer gates, BSS Comps and BSS EQs, 25k Nexo Alpha. Current Show I am on: The Miracle Rally... Full on gospel church gig. full band and 40 person gospel choir with 14 channels of wireless. We are running 53 inputs simultaneously, not counting FX returns and playback. I have a 40ch Soundcraft MH4 at FOH and there is another one in monitor world. We are using a Midas Venice 240 to sub mix the choir, keyboards and multitrack playback to enable us to squeze the show into 40 channel desks. The rack is 8ch KT comps, 8ch KT gates, KT DN370 FOH eq, KT DN8000 system processor (time alignment for delays and in fills. 2 SPX90s and 1 SPX1000. The system is 20k Renkus Heinz TS at the front, 10k of the same as delays and a Nexo PS8 system as infills. Middle of a 7 day run with 2000+ people showing up every night. Desk & crowd FOH rack Empty tent (you can just see the PS8 syste at the far left, in the annexe part, of the tent towards the front. S

Hi Dan, Superb set-up. No protection for the FOH cabs though. Were you worried about the weather changing? John.

Hi All
Can we try and keep the picture sizes down both in bytes and real estate, some pictures go outside of normal screen resolutions. I do not want to remove any posts as I'm quite enjoying this thread and will have fine pictures to post myself soon. Could anyone that is currently falling foul please fix your pics.

Find me a rain cloud and I'll send you a tenner Some of the clubs I work in London have no proper air con just fans and extracters.Everybody seems to stand outside the club until the band go on and even then are reluctant to come back in. Am doing a tent job on sat-at a probable 35 degrees its going to be pretty uncomfortable.

i just got a mail from Rob braviner (fairport convention) and he says i can go and play with the FOH at Cropredy Fest in a few weeks!! will enclose a few pics of that but in another thread as this is obviously all about us!!
regarding pic sizes, if you use photobucket it trims the pic sizes down so you don't end up with majorly big pictures; or simply re-size them in Photoshop, or remember to take the pictures in 600 x 400 max. (by adjusting settings in digicam)

Hi Jim, I was working all week along side Paul Smith at the GBBF at Earls Court, where he was FOH engineer and I was the stage lighting engineer. Paul is the sound guy for one of the bands at Cropready and is a great guy to work with. John.

If you thought that was a serious rig.. wait till you see what I used when I was in school! www.spacedradio.co.uk/soundSorry there aren't many pics... I forgot my camera during the play! The 1st picture shows the Allen@Heath Mixwizard 3 16 channel mixer and the cd player beneath it. There were also 9 radio mics, 5 atmospherics, 2 floor mics and 3 cheap and cheerful Spirit hand mics used. In fact, that's all the gear the school had, unless you count the 24 channel stagebox and the 2amp/4 speaker PA system, which wasn't actually that bad. The 2nd pic is of the hall. Badass setup ehh lol!
