I just had the pleasure of working at Brecon Jazz Festival. I was doing the Cathedral venue. It could have been a complete 'mare but, luckily, all the acts "got" the idea of me treating it like an acoustic gig and just reinforcing what they were doing. The cathedral has a lovely, but very big, reverb, there was no possibility of overcoming it so it had to be used as a benefit instead. I had six Meyer UPJ on sticks, a couple of UPM frontfills and some AE10 subs (yuk!), and a Heritage 1000 out front. A soupcon of Smaart a dash of Gallileo and it was a beautiful thing.
