I went to see Paul Rodgers in Bad Company at the Wembley Arena on Sunday 11/4/10. I walked out of the venue with a 3x CD set of the live performance I had just seen for £20. OK, only the main set, on 2x CD's was actually burnt. The third CD for the encores, had to be downloaded onto the blank disc from the ConcertLive website, but that's still incredible. (The 3x down-loaded encores for CD 3 were MP3 format and are not as loud and not as good as their on-site CD's).
Tokens had to be purchased at the venue upon entry, so that there were no delays in handing out the CD's after the gig.
There were also many professional video camera's being used, so there should also be a live DVD at a later date.
What a great souvenir of a great gig. John.

Wow. Was there not a short wait? Maybe it was burn live? track by track
Was it 'mastered' so to speak? loud enough etc?
I love live tracks, I try to record all my shows with my focusrite kit on dir. outs.

Hi Phil, the recordings are as good as any live CDs that I have purchased from HMV. Loud and clean. The only waiting, was in the big folded queue at the hand-out point, but I got my CDs in about 15 minutes of queuing. This is the link to the recording company web site. www.concertlive.co.uk/aboutus.phpSuperb night. John.

Hi John, Their website is good. I wish it said more about how they do it and what they use (unless I missed it).

Trade secrets aside, I have asked ConcertLive, (via their web site), how in such a short time and for so many people, is it possible to have top quality live CDs ready for collection before leaving the venue. I will post their reply when I receive it. John.
